Keys for the San Diego Chargers vs the Dallas Cowboys
Play defense…It is just that simple. Play a little defense. Maybe force a turnover or something. Dez Bryant and Tony Romo must be licking their chops thinking about playing against our defense. Can we step up and stop the Cowboys? Can we step up and make some plays? Forcing Romo to throw some picks would be huge for the defense.
Protect Philip. With all the injuries on the offensive line, this will be easier said than done. We can’t rely on our running game though, so we will have to protect Philip for a little bit of time so he can get that football out to Antonio Gates and Eddie Royal. Give him just a little bit of time.
Protect the football..Hold onto the football. Ryan Mathews. HOLD ONTO THE FOOTBALL! The guys need to win this turnover battle. We need to force some interceptions and fumbles and we have to protect the football on our offense.
FINISH..At the end of the game, when things are close, we need to play to win the game. It looks like we are trying not to lose too often and are timid in our playcalling and in our play. Step up and take the win.
