Corey Liuget is talking big like he knows how to stop the Dallas Cowboys offense, but the Chargers defense has not been able to slow down anything this season. Jake Locker made the defense look like a high school defense.
Here is what Liuget is saying about Tony Romo and the Dallas offense:
“We know that once he’s rattled and whatnot, it’s easy to take him out of the game.”
“It’s a simple offense. They don’t do too many plays. The key is to definitely hit Romo early and try to take Romo out of the game and put the ball in [DeMarco Murray’s] hands.”
Welp. How are we going to hit Romo if we can’t get to him? Saying something is different from doing it.
Maybe Liuget knows something that we don’t. Maybe Von Miller and Aldon Smith are smoking out in San Diego and they are going to suit up for the team for this weekend.
Hopefully John Pagano and the defense has things figured out. I would love for them to get on track this season.
