The San Diego Chargers have worked out wide receiver David Nelson today. That means that the Malcom Floyd injury could take some time to heal. It definitely looked like an injury that could take some time to return from.
Nelson would be a good option for the Chargers. He played with the Buffalo Bills and was a solid receiver out that way. He has the size that the Chargers like, standing at 6-foot-5. He is coming off of an ACL injury in 2012.
I think that Lavelle Hawkins would be an awesome option for the Chargers as well. He seems like a better fit for the offense. He is able to make plays after the catch and the offense can use players like that.
