The issue of depth is rearing it’s ugly head all over us right now. Injuries have bit us right in the butt and we have to rely on players like Reggie Walker, Bront Bird, Andrew Gachkar, a corner that was picked up off the streets just 4 days before game day, random water boys and the time keeper. Things are not looking pretty when we have to go that far onto the bench.
We need our health in order to compete this season and the game against Tennessee was rough. We had a mess at offensive line. We had a mess all over our defense. We had a mess everywhere we looked and we didn’t help ourselves out with some of the play calling and mistakes that we made.
We aren’t going to have depth this season. We aren’t going to sign a bunch of guys right now that can help the issue. We have to hope for health. When we find a way to win games without our top guys out there, WE NEED TO WIN!
