Malcom Floyd‘s injury looked painful and he has been in a neck brace since the injury. He said that he is lucky that he is not in a wheel chair right now. There are a lot of questions about when he will be able to return and Kevin Acee responded to someone’s tweet today saying that Malcom could take longer than 3 weeks to return.
“@tpowell619: @UTKevinAcee How long is Floyd out for?2-3 weeks?” >Probably longer.

I really think that Malcom could be a candidate for the IR with designation to return. That designation is still available since Melvin Ingram is on the PUP list.
I wish Malcom the best in his recovery. We may need to look at some options to pick up in free agency for receivers though. It might be some time till we get our number 1 receiver back on the field. Hopefully the rest of the guys on the roster can step in and make plays.
