Malcom Floyd left yesterday’s game on a stretcher and left the field in an ambulance. He hurt his neck in the game after a big hit by the defense. He was tearing it up in the game also. He was making plays down the field for the offense and stretching the defense.
It sounds like Malcom will not be available this weekend for the game against the Tennessee Titans. Adam Schefter reported that Maclom would be “unlikely” for the game this weekend.
With M80 out of the game, the Chargers will have to get that ball out to his other receivers. Luckily, Antonio Gates and Eddie Royal will still be on the field for Philip Rivers. Keenan Allen and Vincent Brown will have to step up in Malcom’s absence. Seyi Ajirotutu would likely be activated for the game also and likely would be able to make an impact also. Philip and Seyi have always had a good chemistry.
Keenan Allen made some plays in the absence of Malcom yesterday. Hopefully he is up for the challenge. He could see a lot of playing time this coming week.
