The San Diego Chargers are 7.5 point underdogs in this game. Did we not give the Super Bowl caliber Texans everything that they could handle in a Monday Night game?
Why are we considered to be at the bottom of the barrel in the league? I Just saw that NFL Network has predicted that the Eagles will put up 60 points on the Chargers. What kind of ridiculousness is that?
Sure, there were some things that went wrong last week, but the team is not going to sit on their hands and start crying about it. Today is the day that they get to go out onto the field and do something about it. They get to do it against a team that is getting all the HYPE around the NFL right now. The Chargers can turn that perception around about the team by pounding on an Eagles team that made their share of mistakes last week. They are far from perfect and will give us an opportunity to take this game.
The Eagles will put up a ton of points, but they can also allow their defense to be on the field for long stretches of time. That will give the Chargers offense and running game a big advantage on those Eagles. We can’t let off the gas this time around. We get that offense rolling and we will be sitting pretty with a victory and ESPN will be put on notice.
