The NFL Network and ESPN hyped up the Philadelphia Eagles a ton this week after they beat down the Washington Redskins to open the season. Some analysts like Michel Irvin were so bold to say that the Eagles were going to put up 60 points on the Chargers.
Absolutely no respect for the Chargers defense. Absolutely no respect for the Chargers offense. Just no respect!!!
Looks like someone better take notice around the league. The Chargers twitter fired back at Michael Irvin with this tweet:
WE WIN!!! 60 points? Not today. #SDvsPHI pic.twitter.com/HHWQ5JHrKB

If you are wondering if the Chargers defense heard about that bold prediction, check out the tweet from Donald Butler after the game:
Wondering where @michaelirvin88 bold prediction went…great win for the Chargers! Many more to come! #OneCharge #Believe #BoltUp

Can we get a little respect? We lose to the Texans by a last second field goal and now beat the league’s latest toy.
