He is using all his players in the best of their abilities and making sure to get his guys in open space. It is smart gameplanning with his roster. We will have to find a way to stop it.
The team has to be prepared for that fast pace offense. The Eagles will line up quick and in weird formations and the defense will have to be smart. They have to be ready for the fast paced marathon.
In the end, it still is football and you have to get the basics done. Tackle. Wrap up. Find the football and tackle. Tackle. Tackle….. TACKLE!!!!
There is a lot of speed on that Eagles offense and the team needs to stay disciplined.
It might be best to keep Bront Bird out of the game and keep a dime or nickel package in. If Richard Marshall is in the game, he better step his game up. He was behind in coverage a lot and missed a ton of tackles.
Bront Bird could be exposed on defense if he is on the field. He has to do a lot better in coverage with the tight end and he has to recognize the run much earlier.
It might be beneficial to bring up Eric Weddle into the box to stop the run, but it would leave the deep ball exposed for Desean Jackson.
Pick your poison.
I would rather stop that running attack and see if Mike Vick can beat the team with his accuracy out to his receivers. Bring up Weddle and hope our corners can hang with their receivers.
