San Diego Chargers DE Corey Liuget left Thursday’s preseason game early with a shoulder injury. He played in one series in the game. He took down Jay Cutler with a sack, but hurt his shoulder on the play.

It will be an injury that fans will be keeping their eyes on. Liuget is one of the best players on the Chargers defense. You could see the dropoff in the defense as soon as he left the field.

The depth on the San Diego Chargers defensive unit is paper thin. When Corey Liuget was sidelined, the next man up was Damik Scafe or Jarius Wynn. Who?!

Liuget was scheduled to sit out after his first drive in the game, but he probably would have been sent out for one more drive after the Chargers forced the Bears to punt the ball quickly.

This will be an injury that we all want to keep our eyes on. We have been bitten by the injury bug hard already and we cannot afford to lose any more of the good guys.
