Earlier the responses I sent back to the Chicago Bears Fan Site, Bear Goggles On, were posted. Not here are the responses for the questions I posed to them:

Will Jay Cutler be with the Bears next season?

I fully believe that Jay Cutler will be with the Bears next season. The way I look at it, there is nobody better. It’s not like the Bears are going to be able to just pickup Payton Manning like the Broncos did. If the Bears let Jay Cutler walk after this season, there will be at least 10 other teams waiting in the wings to sign him to a multi-year deal.

Are there any surprise cuts that we could see from the Bears this season?

I wouldn’t say there will be any surprises. I do think that right tackle J’Marcus Webb is going to be cut. The Bears have tried for 3 seasons now to make this guy into a workable offensive lineman and he has shown no improvement in my opinion. He will probably be cut by the Bears and then be signed by the Cowboys where he will have a multiple Pro Bowl career.

What do you think of the new coaching staff in town?

I really like the new coaching staff. The NFL keeps changing and teams need to continually adapt their plans and schemes to keep up with everyone else. Bringing in an offensive minded coach was the best thing that the Bears could have done. They also kept their defensive backs and defensive line coaches to keep continuity for their top rated defense. The Bears are built to win now and I believe they have the coaching staff in place to make that happen.

How did Jay Cutler get Kristin Cavallari?

Not by going to multiple Pro Bowls or anything like that. Probably throwing the career season high 26 interceptions in 2009 caught her attention. I know it caught my attention.
