Malcom Floyd has gone down in practice and it doesn’t look pretty. Floyd was down on the field with players around him in prayer as trainers examined him. It looks like he messed up his right leg, just like Danario Alexander had done. He also ran into Shareece Wrght on the play, just like Alexander as well. Dang it Shareece! Why are you playing so hard!

They had to take Malcom off in a cart. The cart is never a good sign.  This could be a huge blow to the Chargers offense.

We already lost Danario Alexander for the year with an ACL injury and it is not looking pretty for M8- now. When the cart comes out and players are huddled around in prayer, it is not a good look.

If Floyd were to miss a significant amount of time, the Chargers would then have to rely on Vincent Brown, Keenan Allen and Eddie Royal to carry the load for the Chargers offense. Those are a couple of inexperienced players on offense and Eddie Royal, who is not the most durable player on the roster.

The Chargers would likely have to look to the unemployment line for some help at receiver if Floyd is gone. Let’s pray that the injury to Floyd is nothing serious.
