Hermann was an undrafted free agent quarterback that the team was giving a shot, but it already looks like things doesn’t work out with him.

The Chargers added more help in the secondary to fill his spot on the roster by signing former USC safety Tony Burnett. Burnett will get a shot to compete in the thin secondary and will have a decent shot to make the roster. The depth at the position is thin and he is getting to camp reasonably early. He also should be a decent special teams player and that will help him out.
