Have you all read the story on Manti Te’o helping the big fella D.J. Fluker conquer his fear of drowning?

Check that out on the UT San Diego: Sink or Swim? Chargers ‘ Top Rookies Bond

I love this story. With all the talk of Manti Te’o and the catfish, this is a story that will get people to change their perceptions. There is also something a little ‘cute’ about a 6-foot-5, 340 pound monster splashing around in the water. HULK SWIM!!!

I love the leadership that Manti has been showing. I love that he is gaining trusts from his fellow rookie. I love that the top 2 selections of the draft are growing together and building a strong relationship that could last for a long time. I am excited about these youngsters. They are going to be leading this team for a long time and stories like this feel real good.

…but how does Manti not know how to surf? Someone get him a stick and let’s paddle out.
