Philip Rivers did a guest blog for the San Diego Chargers this week. You can read the entire blog here. But since you are here, I will give you the short version.
The team is at 3-1, but they are not satisfied with that. They are working hard and want to accomplish a lot of wins this season. When he is not at the Chargers facility he is with his wife and family. His favorite things to do on days off are swim and play with his six children 10, 7, 6, 4, 2 and 1. The kids love football and they watch games together as a family. When he is watching other teams the kids will ask him who he is rooting for and his kids know they do not root for the Raiders, Broncos or Chiefs (that’s good parenting right there).
Philip loves living here in San Diego. Reason #1 is the weather. He also loves how he can get to the beach or the mountains in a short amount of time.
He is very close with his teammates. In particular, he spends a lot of time with Clipboard Charlie, Hardwick, Gates and Floyd. He talks about his coach, Norv Turner. I will just add this quote and let you read the rest in his blog “I’m happy to have had the opportunity to play for him because he’s a great coach and what he’s done for this league speaks for itself.”
He signs off by saying thanks to the fans and keep coming out to games and being loud. I agree, Boltup!
