Looks like the Chargers are working on signing players to extensions again. Today the Chargers worked out a 3-year extension with Malcom Floyd.

Floyd was due to be a free agent at the end of the season. He is the teams most consistent receiver, despite the pair of drops this Sunday against the Falcons.

This is a great deal for the Chargers and Floyd to ensure the receiver is wearing lightning bolts for the next few years. Love the move by the team.

The team allowed Vincent Jackson to walk in the offseason. They won’t allow Malcom to do the same. There are a few other players on the roster that the team might want to come to an agreement with soon too. Shaun Phillips, Antwan Barnes and Antoine Cason will all be free agents at the end of the year. Who will the Chargers try to sign next?
