Starting cornerback Quentin Jammer broke his hand in the fourth quarter, sources told U-T San Diego, leaving his status uncertain for Sunday’s Week 2 game against the Tennessee Titans. The newspaper also reported that slot cornerback Shareece Wright sprained his ankle on the opening kickoff.

SAN DIEGO —- The Chargers desperately needed depth on the offensive line. On Tuesday afternoon, they added it.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 15) – No turnovers for Chargers in Week 1. If they don’t beat themselves, they will be a playoff threat.

Recap: The banged-up Chargers went to Oakland and came away with an impressive win. The Chargers were solid on both sides of the ball and made more plays than Oakland in a win that was helped by three special-teams miscues by the home team in the third quarter.
