With the injuries to Quentin Jammer and Shareece Wright, the Chargers may be in the market for a veteran corner in free agency. Here are a few guys that could be possibilties:

Andre’ GoodmanGoodman is a 31 year old corner that Chargers fans could know from his days with the Denver Broncos. He started all 16 games with the Broncos last year and finished with 2 interceptions and 10 passes defensed.

Leigh BoddenBodden is a 30 year old corner that recently was with the New England Patriots. He was the starting corner for them in 2009, but injured his shoulder the next season and had to have surgery. He returned last year, but was eventually released in the middle of the season.

Chris Carr29 year old corner that recently was with the Baltimore Ravens and was with the Oakland Raiders before that. We sure do love to sign those former Baltimore Ravens. He started all 16 games for the Ravens in 2010, but struggled through injuries last season.

Bryant McFaddenMcFadden has won a pair of Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers and will be entering his 8th year. He was the starter for the Steelers in 2010.

And here are a couple former Chargers that could be called back:

Dante HughesHughes spent the last 3 seasons with the Chargers and never really stood out. I would even bet that there are some Chargers fans that don’t know his name.

Donald StricklandStrickland was on the Chargers in 2010. He has jumped from team to team in his career and is now looking for another job.

Or we could bring up our corner from the Practice Sqaud:

Greg GatsonGatson is an undrafted free agent rookie from Arkansas and is still raw. He is familiar with the playbook, but it would be tough to trust a rookie out there. We do it with Mike Harris at left tackle though, so why wouldn’t we trust a kid out on an island?

Do you like any of these options?
