After all of the NFL cuts, the San Diego Chargers are the oldest team in the league. Here are the numbers that Blogging the bEast put together after all the cuts were made:
*The New York Jets didn’t update their roster when he put this together, so they were left out of the table. I went onto the Jets page right before putting this post together and it still has not been updated, thank goodness we have good people on the Chargers.com site.
The OLDEST team in the league. Either that means we are wiser than everyone or that means that we are falling apart and this is the last hurrah for a team of old players. There are 18 players on the roster that are over the age of 30:
13 of those players will be starters on Monday Night against the Oakland Raiders.
What do you guys think of having the oldest roster in the league? Definitely don’t think of too many good things when people say that we are the oldest team in the league.
