That stadium in San Francisco looked bare before the game. We are not the only team that has a problem selling preseason tickets at full season prices. Plus this game started at 7 o’clock!

The San Francisco 49ers ran the ball down our throat on the first drive. A good pass rush wont stop the run. The defense did not look pretty the first half.

The Chargers had two offensive drives in the first quarter and they just gave fans more doubt about the offense. Both drives ended in a turnover. Antonio Gates fumbled the ball on one drive and Philip Rivers added to his interception total for the preseason. Luckily that interception count resets after this game. Our confidence doesn’t reset though.

Philip Rivers had time to throw the ball. The offensive line did well blocking for him. Rivers did roll out to the left and he must have ought he was Steve Young and threw the ball left handed. SIGH!! Remember when we questioned his decision making? Still questioning.

Eddie Royal made a catch!!!

The biggest highlight of the first half for the Chargers was Charlie Whitehurst flipping his hair.

Ronnie Brown looked alright running the ball. He found some holes and made some things happen.

I want to vomit!

In the end, it is just preseason. I won’t fly off the handle for the play in a game that doesn’t count. I will wait for week 1 before I lose my mind.
