Where was Robert Meachem!?!

Robert Meachem struggled hooking up with Charlie Whitehurst on offense also. Whitehurst hit him in the hands on a long pass down the sideline and he dropped it. Maybe Micheal Spurlock will be the replacement for Vincent Jackson we were looking for.

Larry EnglishHe really can get after the quarterback when he is not injured. Too bad he is always injured. While he is not injured, he is going to be an awesome pass rushing threat for us.

Melvin IngramJurassic Mel killed a punt returner on special teams! He got a penalty on the play, but it was worth it to see the hit. He then scared all of Charger Nation after going down with an injury to his leg. It looks like it was just a thigh bruise and he could be back for the first game of the year.

Offensive line awfulOur offensive line was horrid!!! Mike Harris was constantly beat on the left side and rookie C David Molk was beat also. Genius decision for Norv to sit Philip Rivers for the game. Charlie Whitehurst was a stunt double in the game and was constantly hit. He survived though.

Replacement Refs awful alsoHonestly felt that I missed Ed Hochuli in this game. So many bad bad bad calls in the game.

The KickersNate Kaeding killed it by banging in some 50+ yarders, but when it came time for a clutch kick, Norv called on Nick Novak to kick the game winner. He should have let Kaeding get a shot at the clutch kick.

The DefenseThe defense looked really good. They got a lot of pressure on Christian Ponder and forced turnovers. Eric Weddle looked like he was hitting harder than anyone else on the field last night.
