Shareece Wright – He did nothing last season, but he is making NOISE this preseason. He was a big time playmaker on the defense. He had an interception and forced a fumble after sacking the quarterback.

Melvin Ingram – He didn’t get to start the game with Jarret Johnson back in the lineup, but you know when he is in the game. He gets pressure on the quarterbacks and he notched his first sack of the preseason. He could be pushing for first team action soon.

Charlie Whitehurst – The clipboard came in and moved the offense down the field and put points on the board. The first team offense stalled out, but Charlie made good things happen.

First team offense – Philip Rivers could not move the ball down the field and he added two interceptions to his preseason total. He now has 3 interceptions in 3 quarters of play. The running game without Ryan Mathews is a concern.

Mike Harris – Harris did not have to play against DeMarcus Ware, but that was a good thing for Philip Rivers. Harris may be a bright spot on the roster, but he still has a lot to learn. He was beaten a few times on the left side of the line.

Vincent Brown – That ankle injury will be talked about for a while. He was going to be a big key on offense.

Pass Rush – Tony Romo was able to sit back all day and his jersey was clean at the end of the day. I don’t know how long fans will wait to see Melvin Ingram out on the field.
