Jeff Demps won a silver medal in the 4×100 relay at the Olympics and now he wants to get back into football. He was the running back for the Florida Gators last season. Demps is ridiculously fast and can take it to the house anytime he gets the ball in his hands.

Ryan Mathews went down with an injury and there are a few snaps that can go to another running back in camp right now. Demps definitely would not be the guy to take the carries with Mathews out, that duty mainly falls on Ronnie Brown. Demps could be used om different situations though as a change of pace back. He can catch the ball out of the backfield and can fly. I wouldn’t trust him blocking for Philip thought, since he is 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds.

Why not bring more competition for that last running back spot on the roster?
