Larry English didn’t miss practice yesterday. Neither did Jared Gaither. Neither did any of the guys that were hanging out on the sideline the previous day. There was no practice for them to miss.

The team will resume practice today and it will be open to the public in the afternoon session. Hopefully some of the guys that have been doing work on the side will be getting into the action. Newly signed quarterback will be out in practice wearing the number 8. Maybe they are saving that number 7 for Billy Volek :).

Our eyes can’t help but look over at the injury list, but some players that are making good things happen. The buzz around Antonio Gates has been overwhelmingly positive.

Per @rapsheet, #Chargers TE Antonio Gates “looks skinny” and has been “burning cornerbacks left & right in practice”: bit.ly/n5r6NP

#FF alert! RT @bb_chargers from @rapsheet “I couldn’t get over how different TE Antonio Gates looked.” #Chargers
