Broncos Star LB Arrested For Aggravated Assault Wtih A Firearm

Denver Broncos LB Elvis Dumervil was arrested on Saturday Night in Miami and is being accused of aggravated assault with a firearm. This crime is considered a 3rd degree felony and is punishable by up to 5 years in jail.

The linebacker had 9.5 sacks for the Broncos last year and led the league in sacks in 2009 with 17 sacks. The details have not been released about the event yet, but we will have more as the details are leaked.

The Broncos have released this statement:
