Just a reminder out to the fans at the Chargers schedule, today starts out the first OTAs (Organized Team Activities). None of these will be open to the public. Here is a look at the upcoming schedule:
May 11-13: Rookie MinicampMay 29-31: OTAsJune 5-7: OTAsJune 11-14: OTAsJune 19-21: Minicamp
The offense and the defense will be able to line up against each other for the first time in the off-season with 11-on-11 drills. It will be a good time to see what the youngsters and the newcomers have learned.
There are a lot of new pieces to the Chargers puzzle. We need to get them all on the same page before the start of the season and that will be up to the coaching staff to make that happen.
The new defensive coordinator, John Pagano, will have to get the defense to play more aggressive and hungry. There will be a lot of eyes watching that side of the ball with Melvin Ingram and Jarret Johnson joining the team.
OTAs are starting and we are one step closer to the regular season.
