The UT already put their spin on this list of coaches that was published by the Sporting News, BUT now let’s put our little spin on this list. I would prefer to look at things in a more positive matter and say that Norval is in the TOP 20 IN THE LEAGUE. It sounds a lot better than saying that he is in the BOTTOM 13.

On the list, he is only rated higher than 7 coaches that have any head coaching experience in the league. All the rookie head coaches are pushed at the bottom of the list. AND a lot of Bolts fans would probably list the 21st ranked coach, Ron Rivera, above the Norval. So where does that put our coach now? Maybe I wasn’t looking at this positively after all!

Just running through the list of head coaches, of all the coaches that have 10+ years of head coaching experience have made it to the Super Bowl, EXCEPT are boy Norv! Tom Coughlin, Bill Belichick, John Fox, Andy Reid, Jeff Fisher and Mike Shanahan have all made it to the Big Game as a head coach. Norv has been the main guy for 14 years and still is looking to take his team to the show. Could that be this year?

Take a look at that list of head coaches by Sporting News. Should Norval be moving up or down that list? Or does the BOTTOM 13, ranked 20,  sound about right?
