Oh how I keep going back to NFL.com and then disagreeing with an article! Here is my latest gripe:

NFL.com  just listed out an article Top QB Division where they ranked the divisions based on their quarterbacks. They ranked the NFC South as the top division with Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Cam Thomas Cam Newton (I seem to write Cam Thomas every time!) and Josh Freeman… and that is fine! MY GRIPE is when they get to the AFC West, Peyton Manning is ranked 1 and Philip Rivers number 2.

Peyton Manning is a Hall of Fame quarterback and he is a Super Bowl winner, but he sat out all of last season with INJURIES. He is 36 years old and is playing on a roster full of guys he has never suited up with before.  Did I mention that his head is going to fall off of his neck?

Philip has had a better QB rating since 2008! He is 6 years younger and has been tearing up this division for years now.

How can Peyton get ranked higher just off of reputation? There are too many question marks with Peyton.

Does the new QB in town automatically knock Philip off the top of the mountain?
