Who should be the starter at strong safety. We already know that Eric Weddle will be occupying the free safety spot, but who is going to take that strong safety position.

There are 3 different possibilities on the roster: Darrell Stuckey, Brandon Taylor and Atari Bigby.

Stuckey will be entering his 3rd season as a Bolt after being drafted in the 4th round from Kansas. He made a nice impact on the special teams last season, but his first season he struggled through injuries and only was active for one game. Now he will get his first full offseason as a pro and will be fighting to get a starting job on the defense. He is a good hitter and is the most familiar with the team out of all the candidates for the job.

Bradon Taylor is the fresh meat on the team and he has a lot to learn before he becomes the starter, but he comes from a big program in LSU that had a dominating defense. Let’s see if he is able to put in the work needed to learn the defense.

Then we have the veteran Atari Bigby mixed in with the group. Bigby will be entering his 8th season in the league and will probably be the leading candidate to be the starter at the beginning of the season. The young guys will be gunning for him though.

Who do you want the starter to be?
