The San Diego Chargers have signed former Oakland Raiders OT Mario Henderson according to Mario’s facebook page. Henderson was drafted by Oakland in 2007 and played in Oakland till 2010. He started 8 games for Oakland. Last season Henderson played football with the Colorado Ice.
Here is what he wrote on his facebook yesterday:God is gud i just want to give him all the praise for given me another chance He deserves all da credit n wanna thank th San Diego chargers for given me another chance n i know wat i need to do. Im goin back to Cali .. The Real is on the Rise….
Henderson is back in the NFL with us and will be getting his second chance. He stands at 6-foot-7, 300 pounds and will get a chance to be a reserve behind Jared Gaither and Jeromey Clary.
Henderson was arrested last year for a concealed weapons violation after getting pulled over for his music blaring out of his Impala (NBC-2).
We have another body to throw into the mix and hopefully he can revive his career here.
