All-time Charger Nicknames

Being involved in organized sports for most of my life, nicknames come with the territory just as much as the actual playing of the game.  My name is Dave Peters but I write under the name Booga.  Booga is a nickname that was given to me by my parents as a baby.

Sports and nicknames go waaaay back. Here are some non-Charger examples: Elroy “Crazy Legs” Hirsch, Red Grange “The Galloping Ghost”, “Iron” Mike Ditka, “Broadway” Joe Namath, “Slinging” Sammy Baugh, “Mean” Joe Greene, “Sweetness” Walter Payton, “Golden Boy” Paul Hornung, Christian “The Nigerian Nightmare” Okoye, William “The Refrigerator” Perry, “The Bus” Jerome Bettis, “Primetime” Deion Sanders ( one of my favorite non-Chargers of all-time), and Dante Hall “The human joystick”, just to name a few.
