Peyton Manning took a trip to Denver on Friday, the first stop on his search for a new team. The longtime Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback was released by the team on Wednesday and embarked on a multi-city tour to find the best fit to finish his playing career.
Rodney Harrison was the Chargers’ short, stocky, heavyweight hitter of a strong safety for nine seasons.
The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that recently released Chargers defensive lineman Luis Castillo is visiting the Kansas City Chiefs, who are looking for defensive line help. The Chargers released Castillo last week because of a hefty contact bonus ($1 million bonus and $3.9 million salary), but they are reportedly still interested in resigning him at a lower price.
