Where Will Vincent Jackson Be Playing Next Season?

Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE
On the latest NFL Total Access, here is what Jason La Canfora says about the possibilities of Vincent Jackson coming back to the Chargers.
I don’t see any way he is back there. The Chargers won’t franchise him, they’ve come out and said that. There has been acrimony between the sides over the years. There’s too many teams in need of wide receivers: St Louis, San Francisco, Tampa off the top of my head.
Who has come out and said that the Chargers will not franchise him? Are they talking about “the enabler” Kevin Acee putting that information out there. Didn’t Acee also tell us that we should ecxpect a new head coach next season?
I could be wrong, but I thought I heard Acee say that we are going to try and work out a long-term deal with VJ and then if they are not able to work anything out, then the Chargers would have the ability to use the franchise tag on him. Norv Turner and Philip Rivers have already come out publicly and said they want VJ back (didn’t help with Darren Sproles last year) and Jackson has also said that he would like to return to San Diego (but I bet he will follow the money).
The Chargers depth at the receiver spot, if Jackson sports different colors next season, is awful! We have the fragile Malcom Floyd as the number 1 receiver and then 2nd year player Vincent Brown would be the starter on the opposite side. The next player off the bench would be Bryan Walters!!!!! I know that some of you LOVE Walters, but it is a joke to put him that high on the depth chart. After one spectacular catch from M80, he will go down with an injury and our starting receivers would be Brown and Walters. That sounds like POO!
Pay close attention to the offseason schedule, we can place a franchise tag on players starting February 20th and the deadline to place the tag on a player is on March 5th. Those are some good dates to keep our eyes on.
