Sporting News named their All-Pro team today and Eric Weddle was the lone Chargers representative on the team:

S Eric Weddle, San Diego Chargers. He roamed the field to rack up tackles as usual (88) while emerging as an impact ballhawk with seven interceptions.

Weddle is getting recognized around the league as one of the best safeties with his performance this last season. He has been voted onto the Pro Bowl and been named an All-Pro and is being listed with names like Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed. We want to see him perform at this high level for multiple seasons and continue to be that play-maker on our defense.  If we could only add a few more play-makers on that side of the ball, then we could have a defense that could compliment our offense.

I am just happy that he learned how to catch the ball!
