Chargers Show Interest in LB/SS Lavonte David at Senior Bowl Practice

In addition to the Chargers eyeing Marshall DE/LB Vinny Curry, they are showing interest in Nebraska LB/SS Lavonte David according to Draft Countdown.
Here is the evaluation from Pro Football Weekly on David:
A small-framed, competitive, instinctive, fast-flowing tackling machine, David is quick to read and react, has a nose for the football and is a terrific tackler. Agile, athletic and flexible — is able to keep pace with backs and tight ends in coverage and is aware in zone. Has a passion for the game and it shows in his aggressive playing temperament — stands out on tape. Take-on strength is limited and size will limit his appeal but can be very productive on the weak side in a 4-3, though he is not exceptionally fast for an undersized ’backer and added approximately 10 pounds of bulk entering his senior season. Similar to Broncos 2000 second-round pick Ian Gold and could warrant looks as a box safety.
Here is another take from an NFL Evaluator:
NFL evaluator: “What stands out to me about (Nebraska OLB) Lavonte David is his competitiveness. He’s not strong at the point, but boy can he get there fast. He’s instant. He’d be dynamite for the Colts. I think he might be able to play safety. He can cover a lot of ground and looks comfortable moving in reverse.”
Here are notes on David on the first day of Senior Bowl Practice:
Nebraska OLB Lavonte David flashed the outstanding instincts that help the Cornhusker star overcome his lack of ideal size. David was seemingly always one of the first guys to arrive around the action and even made a few plays that weren’t even on his side of the field. Forget measurables, this kid is a football player!
David is projected to be a 3rd round draft pick and he seems like he would be a better inside linebacker for our 3-4 defense or we could try to work him in at strong safety. I like that he is being classified as a football player and is always around the football. We need playmakers!
