Morning Dump

Everyone on the Chargers roster is on the inactive list for today.

Interesting move by Denver by signing David Binn. The longest-tenured San Diego Charger of all time is now a key figure in Denver’s playoff run. Binn will be the Broncos’ long-snapper Saturday night at New England. Binn played 17 seasons for the Chargers — but hasn’t seen the field since the first week of the 2010 season.

Chargers director of player personnel Jimmy Raye is being heavily considered to become the next general manager of the Chicago Bears.

There has been some talk amongst San Diego Chargers fans these days that LaDainian Tomlinson, who is a free agent, should be brought back to the Bolts to serve as the backup RB to Ryan Mathews. Plenty of people that I’ve talked to think that this is a very good idea. Those people are wrong.

That does not mean that either L.A. stadium site couldn’t lure the St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings or Jacksonville Jaguars in the interim.
