Sorry for all the site issues we have had the last couple of days. I think we have the hamsters running on the wheels again and shouldn’t have too many more issues (for now). Happy Friday!!!

UPDATE: I am a dirty liar and need to get those hamsters back on the wheel!

The Chargers (5-7) are tied with Kansas City and two games back of Denver and Oakland in the West following Monday’s 38-14 victory over Jacksonville, but getting back into the win column following six straight defeats was the priority.

Even though San Diego snapped a six-game losing streak Monday night at Jacksonville, the Chargers are tied with Kansas City and are two games behind division-leading Denver and Oakland. There has also been heavy speculation coach Norv Tuner and general manager A.J. Smith may be fired at the end of the season.

SAN DIEGO — Jared Gaither says he feels lucky to be with the Chargers, who were in desperate need of a left tackle. The Chargers must feel equally fortunate that the veteran offensive tackle was available when he was.
