Is your house turned upside down getting ready for Thanksgiving? It is just a couple of days away and we all can FEAST!

But Rivers and the San Diego Chargers have lost five straight games, the franchise’s worst streak since going 0-5 to open the 2003 season. Back then, LaDainian Tomlinson and Drew Brees were in their third NFL season, and the struggling Brees was benched for five games by coach Marty Schottenheimer.

In a game they had a couple of chances to win late (where have I heard that before?); San Diego once again fell short.

The Chicago Bears and the San Diego Chargers entered their match-up on November 20th as teams going in opposite directions. The Bears were winners of four straight while the Chargers had lost their last four games. However, despite their recent tailspin, the Chargers have one of the most explosive offenses in the league that is capable of scoring points in bunches and they played like that for most of the game. But when they needed points down the stretch, their offense failed to come up with the big plays, which resulted in a 31-20 victory for the Bears. Here is how I graded the Bears’ performance on both sides of the ball.

SAN DIEGO — The 33rd annual Chargers Blood Drive is scheduled Tuesday at the Town and Country Hotel and Convention Center, benefiting the San Diego Blood Bank.

Playing against what may have been the least-talented and least-prepared offensive line any NFL team has fielded this season, the Bears’ defensive line played surprisingly poorly on Sunday.
