Chargers vs Bears: Keys to the Game

Here are some things that we must do in order to win this game. It’s a long list, but we have lots of things that have been going wrong this season. Time to clean it up:

Run the BallWe need to protect the football and mainly protect Philip Rivers. If we can generate a good running attack and stick with that game plan we could set up big plays for the offense.

Quick RoutesWe need to get rid of the ball quickly, so short quick routes will be big. 3 step drops and let that ball fly! Keep Philip clean.

Beat up Jay CutlerOn the flip side, we need to rattle Jay Cutler. The Bears o-line has not done a great job of protecting him, so we need to hit him as much as possible. Antwan Barnes will need to come up BIG on defense for this to happen.

HealthWe need to end the game with the same people that we started with. It feels like every game that we lose somebody on the sideline and it tests our depth on the roster even more.

Stop the runMatt Forte is the Bear offense. We need to slow him down and prevent the big plays from him. He is also a factor in the passing attack, so we better have someone ready to hit him at all times.

O-Line Needs to Step Up BigWe have backups of backups in the game starting on o-line! These guys are getting their shot to shine. Let’s see what they can do with it.
