Draft Prospects to Watch: Oregon vs Stanford

Of course the biggest prospect of this game will be Stanford QB Andrew Luck. Luck will be the first overall draft pick next season for either the Indianapolis Colts or the Miami Dolphins or whoever wins the Suck for Luck sweepstakes. We won’t care about Luck with Philip Rivers under center. Well, some of you crazies are calling for a QB change.

Luck gets a lot of help from his beast of an offensive line. Right guard David DeCastro is one of the best in the business and is expected to be a first round draft pick. Jonathan Martin is also another beast offensive lineman at left tackle. Watch them do work in the trenches and see what our Chargers should be doing. We always can use help in the trenches to help protect Philip and create holes for our backs.

Coby Fleener of Stanford is a tight end prospect and could be picked up later in the draft. We will need to start looking for replacements for Antonio Gates soon and Fleener could be someone to consider.

There will be a couple of linebackers to watch in the game. Chase Thomas out of Stanford and Josh Kaddu out of Oregon. We need some linebacker help bad!
