Shaun Phillips Expected to At Least Miss Packers Game

Shaun Phillips hobbled to the sideline against the New York Jets and has not been on the field since. He missed last week’s game against the Chiefs and it looks like he will not be available against the Packers this weekend.

Kevin Acee wrote this in his most recent article:

Barnes will continue as the starter for at least one more game, as Phillips is expected to at least miss Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers due to a foot injury.

We will need the pressure to be provided by Travis LaGirl and Antwan Barnes again. We will need them to force Aaron Rodgers into some bad throws.

We will probably see newly acquired Everette Brown on passing downs for LaGirl and the rook Darryl Gamble should get some action too.

Players have to step up to the plate and take advantage of these opportunities. I look forward to having Barnes and SP95 in the starting lineup together.
