With Jason Campbell Out, Will We See David Garrard Join Division?

By Ernie Padaon

The Oakland Raiders Suffered a tough loss this weekend when their starting quarterback Jason Campbell went down with a broken collarbone. The replacements on their square are Kyle Boller and rookie Terrelle Pryor. Boller might take the next couple of starts, but the Raiders will need to find some depth for the position.

The most likely pickup for the Raiders is free agent David Garrard. Garrard was let go by the Jacksonville Jaguars before the season started and has been waiting for a good situation to sign on with. He has a lot of experien in the league and would bring more mobility at the position than Boller.

Kyle Orton is on the trading block, but I doubt that the Denver Broncos trade him to someone in the division. He is a solid quarterback in a bad situation. I wonder if Brett Favre will make his name appear out there again somehow.
