Here are a list of things that you should be

keeping an eye on

listening to during the game. You won’t be able to watch the game on TV this weekend with the blackout, so buy some tickets or find one of those ILLEGAL websites. I will probably pop on the radio and hit up NFL Red Zone at home. Hopefully they play a replay of the game also.

Anyway, here is the “what to watch for”:

TurnoversThis has been the story all week long. We have to stop moving the ball all the way down the field and then giving it up to the other team. We need to protect that football and keep putting it in the end zone. On the defensive end, we have to find a way to take that ball away. Eric Weddle and Steve Gregory need to get after that ball and make some plays. The linebackers will need to force fumbles and harass Chad Henne. Let’s win the turnover battle.

The MASH SquadWe have a bunch of guys on the injury report and it will be up to the replacements to step up and play big. On offense, Randy McMichael will be filling in for Antonio Gates. He will be counted on to find room in the middle of the field and to move the chains.  On defense, there could be all kinds of replacements on the field. Quentin Jammer is slowed by a hammy injury and Marcus Gilchrist will be asked to step up if Jammer sits the sideline. With Bob Sanders going on IR, Steve Gregory will become the new starter and will have to perform well. Darrell Stuckey and Paul Oliver want to be the starter too and will be fighting hard to take it away. Newly signed defensive lineman Tommie Harris will see some action this weekend too with injuries to Jacques Cesaire and Luis Castillo. MASH Squad has to play BIG!

Philip RiversThere has been a lot of talk about Philip and his troubles. Let’s see how he responds to all of this. Will he throw for a monster game and lead the team to victory or will he struggle with more turnovers? I expect big things from Philip.

Let’s get this WIN!!!!!!!
