Time for your prodigious prognosticator, The Greg One, to go back on the record. Last week was a lot more like it with a 10-6 record. Quick shout out to the Buffalo Bills for laying down a monstrous come from behind win over the Raiders and to the Dallas Cowboys for doing the same and in turn, saving me in the Survivor pool. My upset special, the Colts, failed to deliver but won’t stop me from trying to find one this week.

New England at BuffaloStill don’t believe the hype. Bills are beating cupcakes. New England wins 32-17.

Jacksonville at CarolinaNewton versus new Jaguars starter Blaine Gabbert. Newton wins at home 27-20.

San Francisco at CincinnatThere’s no reason to watch this game and less reason to predict it. Coin flip says Bengals win 20-13.

Miami at ClevelandMiami is 0-2, Cleveland is 1-1 so this will be my upset special. Dolphins win 22-16.

Detroit at MinnesotaLions are for real. Lions shame Vikings 34-10.

Houston at New OrleansTexans can’t outscore Saints…yet. If Foster was playing at full strength I would call it the other way. For now, Saints win 32-21.

New York Giants at PhiladelphiaPhiladelphia crushes Eli Manning. Eagles win 31-17.

Denver at TennesseeTitans beat Denver so bad Tebow will get to play QB in 4th quarter. Titans win 38-10.

New York Jets at OaklandStill no game on the horizon I could pick the Raiders to win. This won’t be the one either. Jets win 23-14.

Kansas City at San DiegoThe perfect tonic for a bad loss at Foxboro is the hapless Chiefs rolling into town. San Diego romps 35-7.

Baltimore at St. LouisRavens remember how to play defense and win 24-17.

Green Bay at ChicagoJay Cutler will spend more time on the grass than the Bears logo. Packers win 37-16.

Arizona at SeattleCardinals win 24-13.

Atlanta at Tampa BayToss up. Falcons in 23-21.

Pittsburgh at IndianapolisHorror movie come to life. Pittsburgh destroys Colts 34-3.

Washington at DallasStill don’t believe in the Redskins. Dallas wins at home 20-13.

Not much intrigue this week but The Greg One is setting the bar high for the other weekly pickers here at the Beat. One bonus pick…Rampage Jackson upsets Jon Jones for UFC Light Heavyweight title.
