Let’s just start out with my score prediction so you can see how this post is going to sway: Chargers 5-million-and-14 – Chiefs 3.

Have I used the words MURDERING or KILLING enough this week? There are some high expectations of the Chargers in this game, maybe even more expectations than there were last week. Last week, we were playing a tough team and we knew it was going to be a battle. This week, we are playing one of the worst in the NFL and we are expecting a BLOWOUT!

Now when has the BOLTS actually delivered on our expectations? On this particular occasion, we should deliver a knock out blow to the Kansas City Chiefs. Jamaal Charles, Tony Moeaki, and Eric Berry will all be out for the game and for the season.

The Chargers are coming into the game limping as well. Bob Sanders, Malcom Floyd and Corey Liuget are not expected to play. Antonio Gates is also listed as questionable for the game. It will be interesting how the veteran backups step up into these starting roles against the Chiefs.

Philip Rivers will still have Vincent Jackson in action for hte game. He will also have Patrick Crayton available for the first time this year. Ryan Mathews has been running the ball well and has shown to be a threat in the passing attack as well. Mike Tolbert will want to make up for his bad ball handling last week and will try to pound on some Chiefs into the end zone.

The Chiefs still have a few good players on their team, but it won’t be enough to take out the Bolts. Dwayne Bowe is still one of the best receivers in the league and Tamba Hali is one of the best pass rushing sepecialists out there. We will need to slow these two players down if we want to have that win at the end of the day.

It should be a fun show for our team and we all should be back to our smiling ways come Monday morning.
