Morning Dump

Sharks in Swamis!?!?!? That is just NOT cool at all! Oh well, that just means less people in the water over the weekend. The Bolts dropped the final game of the preseason last night and here are a couple of articles on it.

Enjoy your dump:

The four-part preseason series closed Thursday night at Qualcomm Stadium in expected fashion, as a full-strength San Francisco 49ers offense cruised past a defense missing its most valuable front-seven pieces, and the Chargers’ reserves showed life late in a 20-17 loss.

The Chargers defensive tackle and 49ers running back have traded texts and phone calls in the months since, but had never met face-to-face until Thursday on the field during pregame.

With a new class of draft picks and free agents each year, injured and undrafted players without one play of NFL film are not exactly coveted.

Mathews had a beautiful 56-yard touchdown run and he finished with 78 yards on five carries in a 20-17 loss to San Francisco. He showed he is perhaps ready to take on a bigger role once the regular season starts next week against Minnesota.
