Chargers vs Cardinals: What To Watch

It is week 3 of the pre-season and this is the game where the starters will see the most action. We should see Philip Rivers and company past halftime in this game. This will be the best preview of what we will have during the regular season. Hopefully the guys shine and make things happen.
There are lots of things to watch during this game. Here is my quick list: Run Defense and mainly Donald ButlerThe run defense allowed Felix Jones and the rest of the Cowboys to run right up the gut against our defense, so we better have made the adjustments to stop the run. Donald Butler has been given the job in the middle and he should be someone that we all should keep a close eye on. The Cardinals lost their rookie runningback that was supposed to take the bulk of the carries and now have to rely on Beanie Wells.
Matchup on Larry FitzgeraldIt will either be Quentin Jammer or Antoine Cason up against the $120 million man and it will be a test for either one of those guys. Fitz is one of the best receivers in the game and it should be fun to watch our team slow him down.
Stephen Cooper and Kevin BentleyCoop is going to try and make one handed tackles in this game and show that he can work through his injury. Bentley is the new guy in town and has to prove that he deserves a roster spot over some of these youngsters. Both will need to show that they can be the veteran backup on this team.
Corey Liuget and Larry EnglishJust because they need to have a good year and we want to see these number 1 draft picks succeed succeed! We also want to see them lay out Kevin Kolb a couple of times!
Vincent BrownThe Aztec should finally see his first action of the season! Hopefully he gets some balls thrown in his direction.
Luis Castillo and Tyronne GreeneTheir is a battle at the right guard position for the starting spot. See which one you like better and who performs the best on this night.
I hope this offense just goes CRAZY and kills it. Philip to Vincent Jackson all day long and Ryan Mathews breaking off long runs. Once again, we just need to stay away from big injuries and we will be in good position for the season opener.
