The San Diego Chargers as well as their fans have big expectations and hopes for 3rd round draft pick Vincent Brown. But when observing practices since the lockout ended you will notice that Vincent Brown is not on the field.

During the first practice following the lockout, Vincent Brown injured his quadriceps muscle and has been nursing it ever since. This does not bode well for the Chargers hopes coming into his rookie season being that he has only practiced one time as a pro. The positive side of this is that he spent a significant amount of time running routes with Rivers during the lockout to develop chemistry. Although the bad side is that he will not have a clear feeling for the speed of the game coming into his rookie campaign. Let’s just pray he has been keeping up on his playbook homework and taking some tips and hints from coaches and players.

Fortunately for the Bolts, there are already 4 other viable starting options at Wide Receiver this season in Floyd, Crayton, Jackson, and Ajirotutu. Keep your eyes peeled to see if Brown sees any preseason action.
