IF the NFL is going to select New York for the host of the Super Bowl, then they must be crazy to think that there is not going to be any snow coming down for that game. The NFL is thinking about possibly moving the day of the Super Bowl to the Saturday before or postponing it a couple of days because of the weather. When are they going to postpone the game till, JUNE?! When did this become baseball?

If they are worried about the weather so much, maybe just bring the game out to San Diego. The stadium SUCKS, but the weather is freaking amazing! It has been a tad bit nippy at night and there seems to be some frost on my windshield, but it is nothing close to Nemo out in New York,

Bad idea selecting New York. They made the choice and they shouldn’t switch the day on the game. Let them play in whatever weather comes down. I hope it snows cats and dogs.

First off, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Ryan Pedersen and for those of you who are reading this, you are just as starved as I am to see this franchise become a winner again. I very much so enjoy football and writing about it. My favorite quote about me comes from the late great Steve Sabol, who said “Life is great. Football is better.”

So why not start off on a positive heading into the 2013 offseason with hopefully some early luck.

According to ESPN’s NFL Live on Feb 5th, the Ravens are the latest team to win the Super Bowl after facing the Philadelphia Eagles at their home opening game. The last three teams (Saints 09’, Packers 10’, Giants 11’) and the Ravens, all faced the Eagles at their home openers and all have won the Super Bowl that season.

One of the eight teams on this seasons home schedule for the Eagles is in fact, the San Diego Chargers. Others on their schedule are the AFC West foes Kansas City Chiefs (Now coached by Andy Reid). So does that mean it’s all Chiefs and Chargers going into next season for the AFC West? Not if Peyton’s still around. Hey, four years in a row of this stat, you can’t help to feel a little better after a disastrously below average season in 2012.

Pure luck, right? Heck, we could use some luck around here.
