The answer to this question easily used to be Philip Rivers. He has the most regular season wins (70) without getting to the big game, but there is a new wave of quarterbacks that are establishing themselves and working to get to the big show.

Colin Kaepernick is one youngster that has already taken his team to the big dance. He took advantage of an opportunity to start and came up just short of winning a championship. He has a bright future in the league and has a solid supporting cast around him in San Francisco. His team should be contending for the title for a while.

Russell Wilson with the Seattle Seahawks is another guy with a bright future. He led his team to the playoffs and got a playoff win also.

Robert Griffin III. Andrew Luck. Cam Newton. All youngster that are fighting for that title.

Tim Tebow?

There are a few vets that still haven’t made it to the big game either. Tony Romo. Jay Cutler. But those guys suck, so we won’t even worry about them.

A new wave of quarterbacks have invaded the NFL. Philip has to fight them off with a stick. There are a lot of hungry quarterbacks that are standing in Philip’s path to glory. They are still tapping into their potential, while Philip is supposed to be at the top of his game. Right now we all are worried he lost his mojo.

The Baltimore Ravens came out of the gate slugging. They held a 21-6 lead at the half and opened up the second half with a kickoff return for a touchdown. The score was 28-6 Ravens quickly.

Then something strange happened – the lights shutoff in the stadium. The stadium suffered a blackout and there was a halt in the action for a good half an hour.

After the break, the San Francisco 49ers started putting in work. They made a push to get as close as 2 points, but were never able to take the lead in the game. They were feisty and fought hard, but came up just short.

Congrats to the Baltimore Ravens. 2013 Super Bowl Champions.

Vernon Davis dang near knocked over the Lombardi Trophy. No wonder they started out this game so poorly. Davis isn’t doing so bad, but the 49ers have an uphill climb.
